THiNK Artificial Intelligence

For products with particularly strong product effects, the LIQUISCAN VF IC can be equipped with Sesotec THiNK AI software. THiNK uses multidimensional AI algorithms to model the product signal more precisely, allowing the detection threshold to follow the product effect more closely. This can increase detection sensitivity while reducing false rejects.

Potential benefits include improved protection against product recalls, reduced food waste, higher production efficiency and more reliable detection in difficult products.

Easy Integration into Existing Food Production Lines

One of the main advantages of the LIQUISCAN family is its ability to integrate directly into existing processing equipment.

For filler applications, LIQUISCAN VF can be connected to production processes such as clipping, calibration, twisting and hanging. Different data interfaces also enable communication with vacuum fillers, helping minimize the amount of product rejected when metal is detected.

Reject Systems for Different Product Consistencies

LIQUISCAN systems can be configured with different separation valves according to the consistency and composition of the inspected product. This allows detected contaminants to be automatically removed from the product stream.

Reject system

Suitable applications

Piston valve

Pulpy and pasty products without large pieces; not suitable for aqueous products

Ball valve

Liquid or pasty products, including products containing larger pieces such as muscle meat

Arc valve

Soups and very watery products

Hygienic Design and Food Safety

LIQUISCAN systems are designed for food-production environments with stringent hygiene requirements. The systems use stainless steel and food-contact-approved plastics, while the hygienic casing and inclined surfaces support cleaning and water drainage. Depending on the configuration, high IP protection and optional display protection support intensive wet cleaning.

Sesotec positions LIQUISCAN around six priorities: conformity and accuracy, safety for people and products, simple operation, hygiene, efficiency and reliable service.

Optional Connectivity and Production Monitoring

Depending on the model and configuration, LIQUISCAN systems can be integrated into plant networks using options including OPC UA, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, MQTT and REST API. Sesotec also offers INTERLINK communication and Insight.NET / Insight.WEB for visualization, logging, remote access and diagnostics.
